Original carburetor model 1970 F-250 360 cuin
Can someone tell me the model of the original carburetor for a 1970 Ford F-250 360 cuin engine? I need to replace the one that is there now but I don't know which carburetor to buy. I'm ok with getting a refurbished one. Thanks.

Sounded like the original MC style was replaced with ?
If not, unless the throttle shaft/bore is worn out, base flange/ears are bent or damaged beyond simple resurface, they are very easy to rebuild and the kits are inexpensive..
If there's a carb on it now. post up a pic for ID..

I think it slowly leaks fuel somewhere because it is slightly damp at the base after sitting for a while. A few months ago I had taken it apart and cleaned everything out. I don't trust trying to fix this carburetor anymore. I'd feel better replacing it. Several months ago a mechanic replaced the Holley that was there because he couldn't get the idle adjusted. He then put on a used carburetor that I now think is leaking somewhere.

The Motorcraft units are very basic and simple build designs.
With aged units, other than the accelerator pump diaphragm, or the power valve diagram drying out cracking or pin holing, not much to fail in those units. Both easy fixes without even opening up the carb..
As long as the throttle shaft is sound, most cores are buildable with a simple kit.. Remans are fairly inexpensive too..
