P2290 2006 6.0
2006 F250 6.0 King Ranch
Truck is hesitant during acceleration and surging while in high gear. Not a consistent thing though. Starts just fine. No smoke. When I apply pressure on gas pedal to accelerate it downshifts and surging goes away until I’m back to a set speed.
I’m getting codes for P2290 (injector control pressure too low) and P0672 (cylinder 2 glow circuit plug [which has been on for most of the time I’ve owned the truck. I live in south Texas🤷🏻*♂️])
I’ve already changed injector wire harness, both fuel filters, 2 broken injector pigtails. And it’s still surging/hesitating
I’m getting 48.5v on FICM
580-595 ICP
28% IPR
using scan gauge
The first 8 months I owned this truck I never had to pop the hood. How do I test or check for the next possible solution ??? Can someone give me a list of what needs to be done next ??? Before I blow my own head gasket 🤬
