Angry Pass. Side Window Not working/Driver's door wiring harness broken wire

So my passenger side window will not go back up once it is put down. I have done quite a bit of tracing and found there is a short or broken wire of some kind just inside the boot in the driver's door right next to the male end of the wiring harness. Any way that I can remove the good without tearing it or cutting it? Or is there a way to go in and solder a jumper wire in on the passenger side to manually override that ? I would just buy and install a new harness but they are on back order with no date on when they will be available.
