Guess they need another hour of diagnostic, wouldn't want to fix two problems at once! Does that pipe plug up often?

im no mechanic but from my understanding the tube will build up with carbon from letting the truck iddle for long periods of time . at my house this morning the temp was -30 degree C so i would let the truck warm up for atleast half a hour . hope that helps

Well, I hope you are correct about unpluging the ebp valve at turbo. I unpluged mine and my truck runs like new again. Please inform if you have any problems with issues this may result in.

Default Jake Brake sound

I'm having exactly what you're describing on my 97 F-250 7.3L and was wondering if you ever found the problem. While I'm not hearing the jake brake sound now that I've disconnected the ebps, - or at least that 's what I think that was - I still feel it dragging the engine down as though I'm in second gear all the time. Would appreciate any input you may have. Thanks
