Default Power steering issues

Had a hydraulic winch installed. Now power steering doesn't work
2008 F350

Was a separate pump considered? Not that difficult, plus if it craps out , regular steering is not affected.

thought about several options.
But i can't understand why the winch works fine.
But no power steering.

I know nothing about adding a hydraulic winch to the system. What pops to mind though is, Did feed and return lines get connected back to the steering gear? Can you do this with everything in series or does it need to run parallel? Since the winch works fine this is a dumb *** question but is there enough fluid? Did you check for leakage?
Can you post pictures of your setup please.
Did you install it? Did a shop install it? Did the power steering work at any point after the winch install?
