Hi all,
I have an 03 f250 with the 7.3 liter, 4 door, long bed. I searched your site because my rear end is making a really tinny clinking sound when I go from reverse to forward or visa versa too hard. After searching your site I decided it must be the slip yoke so I had it removed, checked and lubed. This did nothing. I jacked the truck up and listened to the noise up close. It seems to be coming more from the right rear wheel. I have a rear seal rebuild scheduled. Is this it or not? Any suggestions?
