I have my 04' F-350 6.0 in the dealership right now. When I pull a heavy load (camper) the coolant is blowing out of the reservoir (radiator cap), but when I'm just driving it does fine.. I found out that my head bolts are stretched, so I'm going to go back in and replace those with the studs. I asked the mechanic about blocking off the EGR, but they said no to go ahead and put a new EGR in. They said that I would lose power and eventually I would end up bringing the truck back in to replace it anyway.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm about to spend $4400 and want to either block off the EGR or replace it while its torn down.
