Default Replacing Hydraulic clutch line

Some assistance here, please. Need to replace the hydraulic clutch line for my 1988 F250. I'm finding it extremely difficult to remove the old line from the upper (master) clutch cylinder. The pin used to hold it in place is impossible to get out. Is there any special technique to pull out this pin? I am located where there is no Ford dealer or approved repair shop so I have to DIY everything.

Secondly, one end of the new line appears to be bigger than the old one - the end that goes into the master cylinder. A careful look at it shows that it may have a double seal. Is it possible to remove the outer seal and still have the inner seal to fit into the cylinder?

Grateful for your responses.
