Firmer or softer? Springs have the most influence on the ride quality, followed by tires.
Shocks, some affect. They just control oscillations of the springs.Got to remember you got a 3/4 T truck, it's meant to carry loads. A F150 would offer a nicer quality ride at the expense of load carrying ability.
