I recently bought a 1983 Ford motor home with a 460, 4 bbl. Just did a tune up.. replaced plugs, cap, rotor, wires, inline fuel filter & air filter. The guy I bought it from had taken of the smog pump and blocked off all the hoses. When I start it , it runs fine but after it warms up at an idle, in park, the idle drops and it wants to stall.Will stay running if you give step on gas....smells like it's running rich at idle though.... checked the choke and it is open all the way...Do I need to put the smog pump back on or should I replace or rebuild the carb.?[>:][&:]
