Sticky Injectors

Default Sticky Injectors

Have a 2006 Ford F350 6 Litre turbo diesel....have sticky injectors.....would you use the HSS Product or Rev-X or Hot Shots....

Well,, any product that will help with ULSD lubricity and injector stiction you may see a benefit from, or at least some added insurance..

I'd look at the product MSDS info and see what they are comprised of. You may be surprised. Stanadyne, Rev X etc. and do a comparison of the chemistry. It always seems to boil to owner preference, but one thing to consider is how available it is. Point being, I'm not sure about blending and desired affect. I'm sure thats not where you were going, but can be part of the question. I've run MC Cetane/treatment products, no worries, as well as others. Is your truck setting any CEL?

If you haven't already, there is a upgrade/replacement fuel pressure regulator kit to boost the fuel pressure to help with injector longevity. Also, sometimes when the FICM board starts to fail you can get some light to pretty rough idle/off idle injector performance (usually when cold) that may/may not set a light.. Truck run in low temps/cold area's?

I have heard hot shots has fixed a many injector stiction issues.
