Default Tow capability 1974 ford f250 ranger xlt

Hello....I was wondering if anyone has experience using a 1974 Ford f250 Ranger XLT for towing modern travel trailers? If so, what has experiencing been in towing long distances, up hills, in the heat etc. I know this truck was a heavy duty beast back in the day, but can it tow reliably 7000 of gvwr in rough conditions? My panel specs say 8100 GVWR, and GAWR of 3300 front and 5300 rear. Have a new radiator and thinking about getting a fan installed too. Would also like to hear about brake controllers, sway bars, tire size etc. Any think and everything appareciated.
