Transmission fluid coming out flywheel inspection port

If the rubber cover for the flywheel is missing would trans fluid come out. Or what could cause trans fluid to come out there.

Usually, the front trans seal is leaking . The trans would need to be removed and the seal replaced. It's the seal between the torque converter and the trans.
