Needing help/advice on what could be wrong with my ford five-hundred. It has about 213K miles on it and when I turn left (not right) it makes a grinding sound, sounds like metal grinding on metal. Not sure what it could be from, has me a little worried. Any advice is helpful!

 

wheel bearings will growl when bad. when turning, the weight of the car shifts, loading and unloading the bearing...explaining why the noise is quiet turning one way and loud the opposite.
