I guess the intake manifold has to come off. Any help on how to due that would be appreciated. Thanks

 

Upper intake needs to be removed. Can help with some diagrams if need be..

 

I am about to do this also. I order the manifold gasket set and torque specs and instructions would be helpful.

 

I just did this repair about a few weeks ago. I will add that you will need to take off the EGR valve. There is two ways you can do this, you can undo the EGR at the intake manifold OR take off the EGR at the fitting. I chose to do the first.
However, once the intake is off it gives you better access to two things you may want to consider replacing.
1. EGR valve
2. Engine sway anchor
I had to bypass replacing the EGR because is was next to impossible to get it off, my torch wasn't working properly.
