Default Problems with the five hundred

I have an automatic ford five hundred 05 model. A nice car on on the outside. A terrible car in the inside. I bought this car in 07 and heres the list of things that have gone wrong with it yet:

The back up sensors have stopped working
The seat warmers no longer work (over $600 repair per seat)
The 6 CD changer/player does not work either ($800 repair)

and my biggest fear thus far:
Everytime i change the gear, ie from neutral/parking into forward/reverse, the engine shakes and the car gets a kick forward/backward.

I took this to the 'great' repair masters at FORD and they charged me $300 to reprogram the computer inside? and nothing has happened since. I have had this problem ever since I purchased the car. And I am tired of spending any more money on this car.

I am disappointed with the service I received and more importantly the car that I have purchased.

Thank you Ford.

invest in an OBD-II scanner that you can hook up to your computer via USB

they are around 25 dollars on EBAY and can help diagnose many issues that you can fix yourself

buy an aftermarket dvd player..

the dealer often replaces unnecessary parts to fix minor issues...hence the major $$

good luck

I had the problem of it jumping when putting it into gear. have the throttle body cleaned out and that will fix it.
