Sunroof was left open and unexpectedly it rained. No issues until 5+ days later

we have a 2010 SEL.

What is happening ?

1) at start of car front climate auto comes on without AC/auto. Rear fan turns up to max

2) sometimes radio station also sets a preset.

3) headlights turning also trigger this behavior

4) phone dialing capabilities also occur. Always dials ‘00000000’


i do need to pull a fuse to see if that helps. Or get a new one.

Anyone else experience this or have ideas to correct?

 

Don't know what type vehicle you may have , but after a certain year many have a front or rear or body control module and I would suspect one of the modules or more are being affected by the moisture problem. Sometime the problems go away after drying and sometimes they don't. The use of a quality scan tool is usually required to isolate the problem or area.
