I have a 2014 Flex and the SRS light is on but the IDS will not communicate with the SRS module. I suspect the module is dead but I also think that a replacement module will have to be programed to the vehicle . Am I thinking correctly or will the vehicle recognize a new module automatically? If it has to be programed to the vehicle will I have to use "as built data " from FORD to do this ? Any help is appreciated.
