Default 3rd Row seat belt replacement

Hello,
Has anyone replaced the 3rd row seat belt on a flex? Our puppy chewed both 3rd row belts. I replaced the passenger side (T50 was all that was needed), but the drivers side seat belt retractor bolt (the T50) is buried behind the rear AC unit. The silver circular item (No idea what it is actually called) is right in the way. Has anyone devised a successful plan to change this with out removing the AC unit? I called FORD, they approximate the job at 6 hours of labor as they need to remove the AC unit. There has to be an easier way (I hope).

Thank you in advance!

Workshop manual says you have to remove the aux ac housing, I dont see a way around that unfortunately. If you post some close up pictures we may be able to help more.

Hi,
I appreciate your reply. I purchased the service manuals (and electrical manual (3 in total)), the only thing I found was, "Similar to passenger side". Do you know what section or page it refers to removing ac housing? thank you!

I don't know how your manuals are set up, I can copy and paste the ford workshop manual if you'd like, you will need to evacuate the AC and drain the coolant.

I was able to find it when I went looking for Aux AC, rather than seat belts. What a PITA! Going to have to book a weekend for this one! Thank you for your help.

Good luck. Have a shop evacuate and recharge the AC system
