Unhappy Airbag Light on Dash

I just purchased a 2010 SEL AWD. It did not have leather so I purchased a set of 2010 leather seats from a salvage yard. They went in perfectly with all the harnesses matching. Everything seems to work fine however the dash airbag light is now on. Any thoughts on where I went wrong or what is happening? Thanks in advance for any help.

did both set of seats have airbags in the seats?
have the codes read in the restraint module and post them. check the seat belts on the new seats...maybe the pretensioner went off... some models put them in the buckle, others in the retractor. codes with tell the story.

Hi,
Your car will tell you by illuminating or flashing the airbag warning light on your dashboard or computer display. When this light is on, that means your airbags are deactivated. It means they will not deploy properly if you get into an accident.
