Question Water Spots on Flex

Does anyone know how to get rid of water spots? After a fresh wash and dry, the spots won't go away. They're on the body and windows.

Thanks...

I am unsure, I have read in other Ford Forums of members using a Mother's product, and household cleaners. I am going to wax over the spots and see what results.
I have a black Escape and will speak to the dealer about same. I am waiting delivery of 2nd Escape.

Good Luck

The water spots are normally caused by minerals in hard water. Could also be some type of industrial deposit. Have you tried to CLAY the vehicle? Blue Coral has a nice claying kit carried by most auto parts outlets. This should take any and everything off of the paint and make the paint smooth as silk.

Although most of the time we are suffered from the water spots in our car and for those I simply used some type of water spot removal chemical or some kind of vinegar water.

Hey guys! Its so simple. Mix 50-50 of Vinegar and Water will remove them with no damage. Put it in a spray bottle and let is soak for a while in the shade.

Have you tried using a chamois to get the water off before it dries?
