Default 2000 Ford Focus Needs Engine
I have a 00 Ford Focus that has a blown engine and I have a 99 Ford Escort SE that has a good engine (they both have the SOHC engine). Does anyone know if the engine will fit from the Escort into the Focus and if it does fit how much work is it to get the engine to fit in the focus?

I got a 04 engine. I think that 2000-2005 have identical engines, so if interested hit my post about the rack and pinion.
