Hello I'm new to the page. I Have a 2013 focus with transmission issues. It's the auto with the select shift. Kinda hard to believe considering it doesn't even have 70000 miles on it yet. Does anyone have any information about these transmissions or if ford is doing anything about it?

 

Ford does cover this. Just call your local ford dealer, they will run test. They will replace the clutch and seals at no cost and warranty it 100k past the time you take it in. I just had mine done. Cost nothing. They won't send you anything you have to call and do it yourself. Stupid but at least they warranty it.

 

Would this apply to my issue above (DTC P70A3 Transmission Friction Element A Stuck On) ?? Thanks.

 

The code just came on mine today. I have 120k miles now, will they fix mine free? I don't wanna put another penny in this most recalled car of 2013. Thnx
