Default 2013 focus trans clutch actuator

Have a 2013 focus and it has been in the shop 6 times in the last year. The dual clutches were replaced last year and did not completely resolve the bucking issue that these trannys are known for . the latest is the car would not go in toreverse, you could rev it to 4000rpms and nothing and also would start sometimes when this issue was happening. The dealer told me it is the clutch actuator and it failed due to getting rusty from moisture and the lifetime drivetrain warranty that is 3rd paty wont cover it because it failed due to being wet.
My question is how did it get wet or is it normal for condensation to build up on these parts. The dealer had the trans out previously and i am thinking maybe they did something wrong on there end.
Thanks Fred
