Default acceleration power loss

I have a 2006 Ford Focus wagon. On a recent highway trip, suddenly it felt like I was losing power. I pressed on the accelarator and couldn't really speed up for about a minute and then it went back to normal. The car has 33,000 miles on it. I cannot believe there is something wrong with this car with so few miles on it!

Default RE: acceleration power loss

It might be a faulty fuel pump. This seems to be working for me. It wasn't the fuel filter or ignition coil, wires or sparkplugs that I replaced previous to the fuel pump. Good luck.
