Ford Focus SE 2015
So I purchased my car just over a year ago and the material on the front door panels is separating from the door. The material is probably some kind of vinyl to match the "leather" seats.
Ford is saying that they are defective and are willing to replace them, however, they want to put door panels with cloth on them. Now, I'm very particular about the look of my car and it being uniform and clean. What I want to know is why there would be cloth on the panels if my seats are not cloth? That doesn't match.
Ford proceeded to tell me that my car was made incorrectly and that ALL 2014-2017 Focus's have cloth door panels (regardless of the interior) because they were having the problem of the material lifting in many other cars as well.
Shouldn't the replacement be something that would match the look of "leather" interior rather than just putting cloth panels? I'm really upset about the doors not matching and quite honestly, I think there must be a mistake.
