OK I want to get some clarification about the issues and more info about when they started happening, along with recent vehicle history.
For vehicle history when you purchased the vehicle did it have any of the current issues it now has?
Or any other issues present that you did not mention?
Have you had any work done recently other then oil changes?
What light came on first way back when?
TPMS or brake warning light? Or did they both start coming on at the same time?
You mention the radio, dash lights, turn signal, and key warning chime dont work.
Do any of them work at all? Which ones and when do they work?
So are the two fault lights(TPMS and brake warning) constantly on or do they turn on and off, and when they are on the other mentioned stuff stops working.
The reason the TPMS light would be on is - one of the four TPMS's is bad, a internal fault in the module, a fuse is blown, or a wiring issue.
The reason the brake warning light would be on is - the brake fluid is low, the brake fluid level sensor is bad, the parking brake is on, the parking brake switch is bad, a internal fault in the module, or a wiring issue.
Do you have access to a OBD2 scan tool that can view live data?
If not some people here like something called Fordscan, I dont know what all it can do though.
I am guessing that there is a loose connection between the Smart Junction Box and the Instrument Cluster.
There are two fuses boxes a Battery Junction Box(BJB) that is under the hood and a Smart Junction Box(SJB) that is under the dash near the steering column.
What I would suggest is this.
First - Below is a picture of the SJB that I circled fuses on. Remove the circled fuses one at a time and check that they are good with a multimeter, then reinstall them and make sure they are held in tightly, if they jiggle they may lose contact and cause a open. I circled a few fuses that are unlikely but do link in to the systems that are having problems, I figure you only want to check them once so its best to be overly thorough.
Second - Unplug all connectors from the SJB, inspect them for any burns on the harness side or on the module, lightly tug on the wires in the harness a little to check they arent loose. Make sure to securely reconnect all of the connectors, tug on the harness lightly to make sure the connector is secured.
Third - Unplug the IC, inspect for any burns on the harness side or on the module, lightly tug on the wires in the harness a little to check they arent loose. Make sure to securely reconnect the connector, tug on the harness lightly to make sure the connector is secured.
This is the location of the SJB
