I've got a good one here. I've got a 2000 Focus LX with roughly 97,000 miles. The engine cranks but won't turn over. Fuel pump appears to be working andfuel preasure is within acceptable ranges (43psi), I have spark out of the ignition coil amd appear to be getting compression. Conventional wisdom says it should start.

The car died while sitting at an intersection and I haven't been able to get it started since. Frustrating!! Any help would be much appreceiated!

 

start carying a hammer or mallet... (i have the same thing) tap on the red side of the battery with somthing.
it will start.. was at intersection w/ red light on main st. sherrif's car next to me my car did the same thing.
i had to pop hood and do this. i dont know why but its like its not getting a good connection.
