I have a 2003 ZX3 with a check engine light on. I rented one of those OBD IIs from Autozone, but I keep getting a Link Error. I checked the connections, and tried another unit, but still that same Link Error. Is this Ford's way of making me take it to the dealer? Has anyone else had this problem???

 

I doubt it... why not take it to autozone and see if they can get it to work? Just sounds like exactly that... a link problem, could be something simple. read the manual?
