Default PLM D/P review and video

Hey guys, new member here. I'll keep it short and simple. First time doing anything mechanical except for oil changes. Took me about 7 hours but if i had to do it again i could easily do it in half the time or less. It sounds great but you guys can watch the video and decide for yourself. Thanks to BVRS for the fast responses, customer service, and overall friendly demeanor. You can't really go wrong with the PLM D/P. Message me with questions and feel free to comment.

Default just installed

Hey guys,
Just installed this on my 14 ST, and it's a great part, quality is nice, etc.

My only problem is that i'm getting a clunking/popping when i accelerate from a stop, or sometimes when i'm going slow and accelerate hard. I can feel in my feet area pretty bad.

It seems similar to what some people mentioned about the MBRP catless downpipe, where the hanger is hitting the rear subframe brace. Have you guys had this problem with this product? I double checked the v-clamp, etc. nothing is even near a firewall, the hanger seems to be very close to the brace though.

Also, i have the stock exhaust adapter, and i've shoved it in as far as I can, i dont think the problem is there.

ANy help?

The noise you are hearing is the exhaust backfiring more because its more freeflowing. If you are not using the hanger please so do. Try adjusting the exhaust hangers to move the exhaust a little more for clearance.

i def know it's not backfire, it's a clunk. I will adjust the hangers tonight, and see if that helps.

yup, it was the hanger hitting the brace. I put a washer on the brace to lower it by a couple mm, and it is not clunking anymore.

Great product though, good quality.
