Pls help idle problem

Pls help idle problem
just bought a 1.6 ford focus when i rev it and take foot off accelerator revs go down to about 2000rpm for about 5 secs then just drop to under 1000rpm i have cleaned idle controll valve wich wasnt that dirty... any help mush appreciated
