Hi I have a 2012 Focus SE. The "end call" side/function of the switch broke. It just flops to the side. The spring in the switch is broken. I bought a new switch from Ford since they wanted $100 to diagnose (tell me the switch is broken) then $247 to install a new one. The switch is $100 after shipping from Fordparts.com. After watching a video on air bag removal I decided to do it myself however the video was for an older model than mine. It had two 5mm bolts holding it on. The 2012 is different. Can anyone tell me how to remove the airbag?
BTW I know about discharging the system.
