Might be worth dropping the pan for a look inside. A clogged filter might allow more fluid to pass after its warmed up.An internal solenoid might be acting up.With a neglected transmission, metallic debris often is drawn magnetically to the solenoids. If you find a lot of debris on the pan's bottom, your likely looking at an overhaul.
