Where are the focus

RE: Where are the focus
'05 Focus, ZX4, Bone Stock/Stripped (the only option was a pinstripe the dealer added and I couldn't avoid).
Regarding my opinion of the quality:
I lost the first clutch at about 40K of freeway driving (nine months after purchase). Ford wouldn't stand behind it because it is a "wear item." They ignored the fact that there is a bulletin issued on the subject and the failure wasn't wear; the friction surface ripped off of the disk.
Now the synchro is gone on first gear and the clutch seems about ready to go again (I'm at about 50K now). I did, however, find an aftermarket source for the clutch and plan to use it.
Another SNAFU is that the manual trans fluid is a special synthetic that only Ford sells. It's $20/qt and hard to find.
Ford customer service has been a non-player in these issues and I will never be fooled into buying another Ford. These problems aren't too bad, on their own merit, but the lack of responsiveness on Ford's part and the absolutely inept service from the local dealers has convinced me to go back to Toyota; at least they keep running.

IF thats the case, then what the **** are you doing on this site. Go join a toyota site. Or do they not have enough members to keep the sites running?
