2012 Ford Escape XLT "Check Brake System" light flashes and beeps on occasion.

Good Evening,

The "check brake system" light flashes and beeps on occasion before I turn the key to turn the engine and start the car. Any ideas what could be wrong? It doesn't stay on so it's confusing. I took it in to the shop, nothing came up when they scanned it, and I just had my brakes and rotors replaced in January, the shop did a brake check as well, all good there. What should I be looking at? It's a high mileage SUV at this point, maybe a computer system?

You need to check for ABS fault codes.
You may need to go to a dealer who can check for codes using the actual ford scan tool, I dont know what type of scan tool the shop you went to has.
