I'm doing a little detecting for a friends...
He has a 97 Lincoln with a 4.6L 281
It sat for about 6 or so years, before he got it and started it...
His big complaint is that the Number 1 intake rocker come off.. Yes that is what he told me.
This has happened repeatedly, he also said it happened on a F150 he worked on.
He told me that he and a friend visual check the rocker on the Lincoln.
Since it happened on two of these engine it has to be something to do with the lifter ( I think)
has there been any trouble with this feature, or with the Rocker coming off....
