I will try to keep this short... I am a professional mechanic (30+ years in the trade) and have for the most part only been into Chevy. I currently own a Silverado and a Dodge Ram (both 4x4), my wife wants to replace the Silverado with an F150. The Ram is used on property that we have so it sees limited use at this point. I have agreed to purchase an F250 Super Duty 4 door 4x4. I am not concerned about the year or mileage, but want to be out the door for around $25-30K.

What year do I want? I have heard rumors regarding the 6.0L etc. So, what do I want and why? Thanks!!!
