ford f350 superduty

Default ford f350 superduty

i have a 2002 f350 4x4 with noise i was driving with hubs locked in then started to have noise and vibration under my feet pulled over unlocked hubs noise was gone got home and found front driveshaft was shot removed and had rebuilt all new u joints and balanced put back on now it still has some noise with hubs locked in also with 4 high. Removed front driveshaft than locked hubs back in no noise at all sounds like tranfer case not sureis it in the axle or transfer case any suggestions??????????

Don't forget you have u-joints on the front drive axles. Those can be seen and checked while looking at them. If you see any looseness or rust trails they are on their way out also. They may produce a noise while turning or under load , but possibly no noticeable noise when not under load. Check em!
