Ford navigation system
Hi everyone. Has Ford gotten you lost lately. Just bought a 2018 f150. Used the navigation system to go camping and found several gravel and dirt roads in my path. Makes driving with a 30 ft travel trailer a little difficult at best. Ford tells me to try different settings on nav system they can't explain the differences but encouraged this approach to resolve my issue. Anyone with a solution of how to set this up so I don't end up on gravel and dirt roads that dead end?
Welcome to the site...
Remember,, the NAV systems use Google mapping...Its only as good as the current maps..
I used my GPS once in terrible weather for a return home from a funeral, 'shortest route"selected, should be no issues and it literally took me through a semi active forest fire at night, (county roads I'm guessing) within rainy conditions and like you my next turn was a wall of rock dead end.. We continued on, and it finally got us where we needed to go, but like as noted by Google it has its limitations and should be used as such..
