Fuel Lines
I have a 2008 F150 STX 4.6L 4WD. MY fuel line clip broke. This is on the delivery line that runs from the fuel tank to the fuel filter. The clip and line are all one piece. This part has been discontinued. I am considering splicing the line and putting a clip on the end and calling it done.
If anyone has other recommendations or suggestions, I am open to reading them.

It might be a good idea to reconsider what you plan to repair.
Those fuel lines can get pressures over 60 psi and anything other than original equip could be inviting problems, big problems !
You might consider a salvage yard.
Those lines have special spiked retainers that prevent the end from coming apart and require special release tools to separate them.
The large clip is extra insurance. We don't redesign fuel lines , gas sprayed around hot exhaust parts is disaster waiting to happen.
You will find most years have the newer type connections and when you use the right tools can be easy to work on once you release the pressure in the lines.
Most auto supply stores sell the little tools required. The most difficult part of the job is getting to the salvage yard. There you will see what you want and can get anything else you need there, lol. Be careful to not lose the special little "O" rings in the cup end of the connection. Piece of cake job you can handle it !

There are shops that need to use hard to get parts and if you call a few local ones they might be able to direct you to one that they use .
Many times places that advertise online, will tell you they have any thing you need and after you get it , it doesn't fit or doesn't work and now it's yours.
