When removing cylinder heads, is it necessary to remove the fuel injectors from the head? Iam just gearing up to do a head gasket replacement on an 04 F250 6.0lt (Nov 03 production) . I realize the shop manual says to, but its not clear to me why, I've also seen a you tube vid where smastertech - he usually has some good vids - does not - though that was on an early prod 03. I would really appreciate everyone's thought on this. Thanks.
