I have an 04 mustang 3.8 and a 99 expedition 5.4. my mustang recently blew and cracked its head gasket so I want to know if any parts from the mustang will fit in expedition before I scrap it

 

Little things like bulbs, wiper arms, if the same don't eat and save a trip.

If the spare tire is the same, might come in handy. You will think of lots of things after it is gone. lol

 

I'm thinking bigger ticket items as well. I know the engine components won't match (3.8 vs 5.4) but what about alternate, starter, fuel system, exhaust kind of stuff. I bought mustang new struts but I know they won't fit. I have new tie rods too. Will they fit expi.

 

A Ford Dealership Parts dept would be better able to provide an answer. You might also ask the place where you bought the replacement ends, they might have a listing if the part numbers are the same.
