Safe for short time use

Will Quaker State ATF work in 03 5.4L F150 until i can get back to town and get Mercon 5?

Welcome to the site..

Mercon V is backwards compatable,, but Dex/Merc aren’t forward compatable..
How low is the trans? Why was it low...
