I am trying to buy a K&N for my 04 Freestar but all the listings start at 05. Is the 04 different? Any help is appreciated!

All of the Freestars, both 3.9 and 4.2 take the same filter. Don't know why they wouldn't list one for the 2004. Even their 2005-2007 listing shows 2 different filters and sizes. I have a K&N filter that I purchased a few years agoe from K&N when the 2004 was actually listed on their site. I used for 1 year before AMSOIL came out with one. I'll look at the part number on the box. If you really want one, I'll sell you mine for $25 + shipping (you're choice of shipping type). It's clean with no oil on it.

 

Thanks for the info and offer, but the postage will kill me! As I have an account with Amsoil, I ordered one from them. Probably better off in the long run!

Good call on the AMSOIL filter (My opinion). I just got my new AMSOIL filter last week along with 5 gallons of tranny fluid for my 100,000 mile fluid replacement. Actually ordered $500 worth of products for my Freestar, MKZ and other toys...
