My Freestar driver's power window operates intermittantly. Sometimes it works, some times it doesn't. I can almost always get the window partialy down. It will then stop and not respond to the switch. When I push the window down, while holding the switch in the down position, it will go compeletly down. I then select window up and it goes back up. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong?

I would start by removing the inside panel and inner plastic cover. Then watch the window operation to see if or where it's hanging up. It may be haning up on the window guides or the motor track.
