I have a 2004 Freestar and I'm trying to replace the passenger side airbag sensor. In my van, you remove the passenger seat, lift the carpet and the sensor is there in a bracket, screwed into the floor. I went to a U-Pull scrapyard on the weekend to get a replacement. There were 4 2005 Feestars there. I pulled the passenger seat out, lifted the rug and found nothing! Where o where is the side impact sensor located in a 2005 Freestar???

 

First row side impact is under the carpet for 05..
Not sure if they were split year etc, but if they were 06 M/Y,, the sensors were pillar mounted..
