Compressor unplugged?

Default Compressor unplugged?



my a/c has not been working this summer. here is a pic of the compressor. it looks like something is unplugged. but I don't see any loose wires

Yep, the power lead is disconnected. Look around the bracket area for the connector lead. It's probablt tucked p out of the way somewhere.

Has your van been in for any type of service when your A/C magically stopped working?

If not...Personally, if it was me, I would suspect that somebody disconnected it hoping it comes in for an "A/C" issue. Then try to suck lots'o $$$ for a non-existant repair, plug the connector back in and you go away happy to have working A/C and then rave on how good the service/repair was.

yep that,s where the plug-in goes at ! look around and see if you can see a plug-in hanging someplace ! maybe the compressor is bad , the reason it was unplugged !

Thank you I found the plug and now it working.

I'm going to confront my mechanic. see what he comes up with.

Yep, never seen one magically unplug itself and hide up behind a bracket.
