Default cruise control
On my 05 Ford Freestar to cruise control works intermittently when I push set or resume the light will flash for a second and then go out again

Common issue for this scenario is usually caused by a faulty brake pressure sensor on the master cylinder. Easy change out with no fluid loss. About a $35 part.
