I have Freestar2004 and I want to install DVD screen in the ceiling. Anyone know how to install and from any place I take the power feed?

 

Factory or after market? I installed a PYLE 10.4" monitor and a PYLE PLTDVCR600 in my 2004 Freestar. Made a center console for the PLTDVCR600. It's self contained with it's own batterys and 12v power point. Will be adding a power inverter to the console within the next month . Can send pics if you want.

Yes I am trying to do this. Did you ever figure it out? I am looking to pull a unit from the junkyard. I know there may be some configuring to do. Has anyone on this forum successfully added a DVD to the Freestar Limited that did not come with this option originally. Mine is 2005 Ford Freestar Limited. It has everything but a DVD. I would like to pull from a junkyard. I did it with a Pontiac which required some wiring and turning on the option with factory scan tool.

 

Does anybody know if the wiring is already there in the headliner on a 2005 Ford Freestar Limited. Never came with DVD but if I pull one from the junkyard can I put it in? What is required?
