How to remove the shift solenoid ...
Hi, I am attempting to replace the shift solenoids on my 2004 Freestar and cannot get them to release . I read that I should rotate clockwise after pushing a lower tab ( allowing it to turn).
Can somebody tell me if this is correct ? am I not using enough force on the metal tab? Is there a secret? thanks
Update: Apparently it is as easy as counterclockwise to remove and clockwise to install . All installed,. thanks again
